My god, I'm beautiful. Rosalie thought this as she stared into the mirror in her and Emmett's bedroom. It was a shame that even after this long, Rose got distracted from things simply by catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror. Honestly, one would think that she would be over this type of thing by now. But no, Rose knew she would always be this vain. It was a personality trait she had been born with and it had come with her into this new vampire life. This new existence. She truly loved being a vampire, it fit her quite well. She was absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Rose could probably spend an entire day and then some talking about her beauty. That didn't sound very nice did it? Sort of made it seem like Rose cared more about her looks then anything else, made if sound like she was stuck up. While that was a little true, there was a lot more to Rosalie Hale than that. She cared deeply for her family though at times she was mean to them. Hey, wasn't every family a little dysfunctional? Especially when you had eight vegetarian vampires all under one roof with different....needs to satisfy. Rosalie smirked as she rememberd how she and Emmett had just satisfied one of those needs merely three hours ago. Her golden eyes returned to the shiny mirror surface again as she watched her own smile light up her features.
"Rose, sometime today please. I swear, if I have to hear one more thought about your looks....," Edward's voice trailed off as he called up to her from downstairs. A soft hiss passed through Rose's lips in response and she stood up. "I will take my own sweet time, thank you, Edward. If you don't wish to hear my thoughts then stop listening," she said smugly and knew Edward had heard her. She deliberately started repeating her thoughts from earlier over and over, just to annoy him. She heard Emmett chuckle downstairs and knew that she must be getting to Edward. She walked over to her huge closet and opened the door, quickly finding something to wear. Today, she chose a dark red v-neck tank top and a flowy white skirt that reached about an inch above her knees. She danced lightly over to where she kept her shoes and pulled out some white strappy heels and slipped those on as well. She stepped out of her wonderful closet and shut the door quietly. She stepped over to a floor length mirror set up near the closet and admired her outfit. She decided to add some jewelry. She slipped on a ruby necklace, some silver bangle bracelets, and her marriage ring of course. She stepped back in front of the mirror and smiled happily at her complete look. Well, almost. She heard Edward hiss downstairs and laughed quietly. She walked across the hall to her and Emmett's bathroom and applied her make up. She then made her way downstairs into the living room where she knew everyone was.
She sent a smirk towards Edward. She always got her way and she was surprised that Edward had brought that whole thing up. He knew that it wouldn't be any use. She smiled at the rest of her family and walked over to where Emmett was sitting in one of the recliners. She carefully set herself down on his lap and kissed him. She wasn't in any hurry to stop kissing him and neither was he. She heard Bella clear her throat in attempt to get their attention but that didn't work at all. "Didn't you two get enough of that a few hours ago?" Edward asked, his tone annoyed. Rose finally broke away as Emmett chuckled. Rose turned her golden eyes, a laughing smile playing on her lips. "Not nearly enough," she said and then smirked as Edward scowled yet again. She rolled her eyes and looked around at her family. She truly did love all of them. Emmett, Alice, Jasper, Carlisle, Esme, Edward, and now Bella. She had forgiven Bella since Rose had finally realized that there was nothing she could do to sway Bella's decision to become a vampire. She smiled at Bella, letting her knew again that she was no longer mad with her. She then turned her attention to Edward. "Well, Edward, was there a reason you rushed me so and forced me down here? What could possibly be that important?" She waited calmly, her thin brow raised. She was curious what it was that had Edward in a bad mood.
