Lies, scandals, addictions, sex, schoolwork, and church?
Those six words should never be put in the same sentence, or should they?
At Glenbrook Preparatory Academy, these words are fulfilled quite often.
Our story takes place in Glenbrook, Nevada, a little Christian town
on the edge of Lake Tahoe where gossip travels quickly and family
secrets are always buried deep. It seems like the wealthy,
successful, and religious parents are the only normal ones, but
maybe they're really just smart people who are capable of covering
up their skeletons (with money of course). The teenagers on the
other hand, are usually used to getting whatever they want.
Don't be mistaken, there are many different cliques at this school,
and many do come to Glenbrook Prep on a scholarship, but it
seems like every person has their own secrets and hidden past.
But attending every Sunday service isn't going to help everyone
like they want it to. Actually, most of the teens are as messed up
as they are because of their extremely religious parents, who
pressure them into doing whatever they think is best for their
child, even if that means shipping them off to some boarding
school. So if everyone's already messed up, what else could
possibly go wrong?
