My name was not given to me by my parents, and I cannot even remember what it was now. It was probably something bland like Yvette or Marie, I really don’t know, but my name came from my companion Henri. He named me, when I was human, giving me the name Clarice, meaning little bright one, or so he claims. I also took his surname, even though we are not married, he claims it is for show. I don’t really mind, a name is a name and can easily be change.

Christ who knows, and who cares, all I know is my life with Henri. He found me in a brothel in the bohemian part of Paris, he says it was upmarket, but I really don’t believe him. However he convinced me to come with him, claiming I was his new muse. I was reluctant, but still he was such a smooth talker I could not help but follow, feeling slightly foolish as I went. However when I was in his studio, he seduced me and a week a passion later, and I was re-born, to this life. I was stronger and faster, than I could have ever dreamed. He truly blessed me with his kiss.

No. I arrived in the area a couple of weeks ago. Henri and I, were passing through, when he heard all the commotion. So we came to investigate, hanging about on the outskirts just looking in. it is pretty boring, but he seems interested, but I have found things to keep me occupied.

Hum I tend it always find a way to interest myself, epically when Henri is around, life is never dull with him. Whether he is bringing me into his new art protect, or reciting some of his new poetry, or something else, he never makes life dull. But if he is distracted, I like to play games. I love the chase, and the thrill of getting something I want. This is normally my pray, as I love to play with them and toy with their emotions. Of course not in a sadistic way, as I always put their misery quickly. I just like to play with them, before I kill them.

Humm I guess I shall be somewhere with Henri. I have been with him ever since I was born into this life and he does make it an exciting one. We travel all over and do the most magnificent things, I doubt I shall ever really split from him. As for goals…I have none. This life is so free and exhilarating, that to tie it down to goals would be a crying shame. I shall do what i have always done, taking each day as it comes

Scared? What am I scared of? That is a tricky one, as I really cannot say I am scared of anything. My body can withstand anything, so nothing like that effects me. Though if I really had to say something -voice quietens- … I would say I am scared a little, just a little of Henri. He is a strong willed man and is very, what’s the word, possessive? Yes I think that is right, I think. He sees me as his and his only, and can get very jealous if he sees me talking with another man. I guess I am scared of what lengths his jealousy will go to.

Hum. Does Henri count? I guess he does, we have been sexual partners since…well ever since I was born. So I guess that makes us a couple? I really don’t know. But me and Henri have a open relationship, and we are free to see whoever we want. So I would say no, I am not in a relationship and I am not looking. But if something comes my way, that I like, then I shall grab it.

Why don’t you, tell me? I have no idea what my parents’ are like, or who they were. I know that they were not nice, and would abuse me, my father especially. I think that is what lead me to the brothel, either I left, I was thrown out, or they made me work there for money. I don’t know, but I am sure that it was something they did, that lead me to that place. And I am glad, because without I would not have met my wonderful Henri, I would never have experienced this life with him. So no I don’t care for my parents and I don’t care to talk about them.

What secret? I don’t keep any from Henri, he would get mad, he likes to know everything I do as he takes a keen interest in me. Always has, always will. So I guess the fact I am a vampire, is a secret. I do tend to keep that from the wider population.
