I’M LIKE A PERFORMER
THE DANCE FLOOR IS MY STAGE
================================
These past few days have been....rather interesting. Bella had come to the house for a party that had been planned by Alice. Rosalie really hadn't want to be any part of this little party for Bella, but she had finally been broken down by Emmett. As long as he was there, well, she would put up with the human. When Bella had come through the door with Edward, it seemed she didn't want to be here as much as Rosalie had wanted to be. Still, she said Happy Birthday to, as the others had. Her hand had never left Emmett's until he went to install the stereo into Bella's truck. She had to admit, it was rather amusing when Bella had opened the empty box, which was supposed to represent her stereo.
As Bella opened another present, it was only a matter of seconds before she could smell blood in the air. Before she could even react, Jasper went straight for her. Things that she had not expected to happen that night, were unfolding right before her. When Emmett and her had helped get Jasper out of there, she had been very careful not to get bit by Jasper. While she was rather smug about how she had told Edward this was likely to happen, she was also worried about her and Emmett's safety. Trying to drag a blood-crazed vampire away from a bleeding human was not easy. Plus he was strong, not that she could blame him. The smell of her blood was more then tempting. Though she was not about to allow herself to give in and have a go at her as well. She had never consumed human blood in all of her years of being a vampire. She would not start now.
Something that upset Rosalie, was that now there was another vampire in the house. Bella. She wasn't happy about that, and she knew she could not trust Bella at all now. She was a young vampire, and they often went on pure instinct without a second thought. She could expose them all if she was careless enough. Most of her time, when Bella was transforming, had been with Emmett. Who had stayed with her a lot of the time, all the while, Rosalie had a smug expression her lips. A look of 'I told you so' written all over her features. How they could've been so...naive about this possibility was way beyond her.
Currently, Rosalie was sitting near the window by the backdoor, just staring out the window as the warm sun hit the side of her that was nearest to the window, her skin sparkling against it. It was rare they got a sunny day out here, and Rosalie hoped they were going hunting soon. As she was rather thirsty. Even though her eyes were not completely black yet, they were certainly not their normal golden hue.
